Frederick County’s public safety community formally announced its support for Question A – Charter Government in the November 6 election at a news briefing held today at the Frederick Chamber of Commerce.
Representing current and retired deputy sheriffs and fire fighters, DFC James Harris (President, Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 102) and John Neary (President, Career Fire Fighters Association of Frederick County, IAFF 3666) were united in stating, “Charter Government will give Frederick County local control over local issues and a stronger voice when working to bring state funding to our county.”
